Held in the Canyon View High School Auditorium

Ages 5 and up at any level of experience, even beginners or no experience, are welcome. There will be a role for everyone who auditions.

There is a $25 production & costume rental fee per dancer due at auditions. (family rate is available $60 for 3 or more family members)

Expectations

  • Please arrive at the designated arrival time for dancer measurements.
  • Dancers will be given a number and will learn combinations at the audition.
  • Most rehearsals will begin in September with a possibility of starting main characters and big groups in August.
  • Performance Dates: December 12th, 13th, 2025
  • Most dancers will only be called for one or two hours a week.
  • Please list any conflicts that might fall on a rehearsal day and time when you register.
  • *Dates and times may be subject to change.

Rehearsals

Most rehearsals will begin in September with a possibility of starting main characters and big groups in August. Different groups/parts will be assigned different days and times. Some dancers will be called once a week, depending on part(s). Most dancers will only be called for one or two hours a week.

Rehearsal Schedule:

  • Monday: within the time frame of 5-9pm
  • Friday: within the time frame of 3-8pm
  • Saturday: within the time frame of 9am-4pm

Not everyone will be called for a rehearsal each week. We have to work around many groups and activities for practice and available space.

Important Dates:

  • Nutcracker Week: December 8-13
  • Shows: December 12 & 13

Audition Attire

  • Leotard and ballet slippers & pointe shoes (for pointe audition) or tight fitting clothing and non-slip socks.
  • Boys/Men: t-shirt and sweats are fine.
